Personal Training Supervisor

Reports To: Fitness & Longevity Manager

Type: Auxiliary (20-25 hours per week)

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to oversee our Personal Training program and drive success through collaboration, creativity, and a client-focused approach. This is your chance to shape the future of fitness services at the Richmond Olympic Oval while delivering exceptional experiences that exceed expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise, mentor, and support Personal Trainers to foster excellence and collaboration.
    • Organize continuing education workshops to enhance trainer expertise.
    • Deliver fitness consultations focused on sales through service approach and member education.
    • Assign trainers using New Client Information forms and their specified goals.
    • Develop innovative services and registered small group training programs.
    • Collaborate with Marketing on cross-selling strategies to boost revenue.
    • Track client sessions, trainer schedules, and bookings in Xplor Recreation.
    • Enhance client retention through exceptional experiences and personalized programs.
    • Evaluate and provide feedback to Personal Trainers for growth and development.
    • Facilitate effective budget management to achieve financial performance targets.
    • Oversee equipment needs to maintain a high-quality training environment.
    • Contribute to fitness strategies alongside managers and leaders
    • Prepare and finalize metrics, reports and payroll as directed by the Manager of Fitness & Longevity.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: 

    • Degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Physical Education, or equivalent.
    • Current Certification (CSEP, CSCS, or equivalent).
    • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory role.
    • Proven track record of personal and professional development.
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
    • Experience with Xplor Recreation software (asset).
    • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.

Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Financial acumen, including experience with budgets and reporting.
    • Strong confidentiality skills regarding financial and personal information.
