Specialty Fitness Instructor, Pilates

We are looking for excellent people to join our Community Sport team!
The Richmond Olympic Oval is seeking a highly qualified Pilates instructor with certification in Pilates Reformer. The successful candidates will have the expertise to lead private, duo, and trio sessions, as well as to instruct and substitute for small group Reformer classes of up to 7 clients. This role requires a professional approach to delivering customized and effective instruction in both individual and group settings.
Your core responsibilities include:

Visually assess students to determine individual skill level and develop a safe and effective program.

Working with Private Training Supervisor to build your own book of business through Oval memberships and referrals.

Ability to work independently and in a class session capacity.

Developing and maintaining professional relationships with members and ensuring optimal levels of customer service.

Maintaining studio and equipment cleanliness.
The qualifications and skills you bring to this role include:

A minimum of 2+ years experience.

Training with comprehensive classical Pilates on a reformer/Cadilac.

Experience with Mat Pilates.

A Kinesiology background and/or experience working with clients returning from injury.

Must present valid First Aid and CPR certifications.

Experience working with Xplor Recreation is considered an asset.
- Completion of the National Pilates Certification Program is considered an asset.
- Must be able to complete a successful Criminal Record Check.
We are looking for a candidate with the following availability:
- Tuesday and Thursday daytime and evenings
- Saturday and Sunday daytimes
- There may be opportunities for additional classes
Compensation range (hourly rate is based on qualifications and experience):
$40.99 - $62.10 plus 12% in lieu of benefits
